Kia-Samsung Korean Series Game 1 sold out...17th consecutive postseason game

The first game of the Korean Series between the Kia Tigers and Samsung Lions is sold out for the first time in 31 years.

The KBO announced today (Nov. 21) that all 19,300 seats for Game 1 of the best-of-seven (KS-7) best-of-five series between the Kia Tigers and Samsung Lions at Kia Champions Field in Gwangju had been sold by 2:40 p.m., nearly four hours before the start of the game.

The baseball postseason is on a 17-game sellout streak dating back to Game 1 of last year's Korean Series.
